It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since we picked up our first throwing axe and fell in love with all things woodsman. On the last morning of camp, we got ready for our drives home by rolling up our sleeves one more time to go head-to-head in a good ol' fashioned lumberjack competition. Brett's Hot Creepers bested Team 1 (now known as Team 2) by 16 seconds across a slew of events, including cross-cut, bow saw, pulp toss, obstacle path, axe throw, and speedclimb. It's always bittersweet to say goodbye to ADKS, but little by little, we're bringing it back to BK.

Whenever we get asked why we call ourselves Project Woodchips we like to say that it's because we're forever going to keep looking for the best experiences (and projects) to bring this stuff to others—so they too can fall in love with it and make it their own project (I think you can figure out the Woodchips part). We've only scratched the surface of what we're doing and where we're going, but on this last day of the first-ever Project Woodchips Lumberjack Camp, we're ridiculously grateful to everyone who helped us get here (you know who you are!), and we can't wait to tell you more about what we're up to in the fall.
